What is LymeStop?
LymeStop is a powerful, all-natural therapy that is the culmination of an Idaho doctor’s research with over 400 Lyme sufferers, including himself. This breakthrough alternative treatment is revolutionizing the way that Lyme disease is typically addressed.

In 2009, Dr. Anthony Smith made a profound discovery about Lyme disease. He found that most Lyme-related infections appear to have tender, acupuncture-like points on the body.* These points are unusually tender to palpation, and they have a diminished impedance to a negative magnetic field. But most importantly, they can produce a highly effective therapeutic response against Lyme Disease.

What specific Lyme infections have BLPs?
Dr. Smith identified BLPs for each form of Borrelia (Lyme) bacteria. He also discovered BLPs for most common Lyme co-infections, including Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Mycoplasma Pneumoniae, Chlamydia Pneumoniae, Protomyxzoa, Rickettsia, HHV6, Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr Virus, Tick-Borne Encephalitus Virus, Powassan Virus, and five other co-viruses.

How do LymeStop treatments work?
Gentle therapeutic magnets are simultaneously applied to a BLP, the cranium, and other significant areas. This magnetic stimulation optimizes your neuro-immune system's recognition of the specific infection. This empowers it to produce an immediate and effective therapeutic response. It is therefore your own incredibly efficient immune system – not the magnets – that actually performs the treatment. LymeStop is so effective that even people with significantly compromised immune systems have responded well.

How many treatments are necessary?
All of the treatments can be accomplished during a total of five office visits, over a period of no longer than two weeks. You can receive up to two or three treatments per day. You can thereby safely and conveniently complete all of your care within three days, if you so desire.

Why do the treatments need to be completed within two weeks?
Completing the treatments within this time frame can prevent any Lyme infections from “morphing” and becoming resistive to therapy. This may also prevent them from attempting to hide in the deeper tissues of your body.

Is this type of treatment safe?
Magnets have been safely used for therapeutic purposes for hundreds of years. However, the use of magnets is always contraindicated for those who have pacemakers. Pregnant women should also avoid this type of therapy because of the significant release of toxins that can occur. Because it is gentle, painless, and drug-free, LymeStop is an ideal natural Lyme treatment for children.

Is LymeStop effective for everyone?
There is no Lyme therapy that is effective for everyone. However, we can safely say that the great majority of people have responded well to LymeStop therapy.

Some symptoms never completely resolve when they are caused by:
• An unrelated disease
• A serious heavy metal or chemical toxicity
• An uncommon Lyme co-infection that does not have a BLP
• Any genetic methylation issues that have not been properly addressed

In some severe severe cases, Lyme disease will cause permanent damage with symptoms that are irreversible.

What will I experience after completing my treatments?
Your immune system will gradually kill the infections over a period of about six weeks. During that time, you may experience episodes of significant fatigue (and other symptoms) that will come and go. The duration and intensity of your detoxification symptoms will be in direct proportion to the severity and location of your Lyme-related infections, and how well your body is able to eliminate the dead infections.

How soon will I start feeling better?
The average person begins to feel better after their first six weeks of detoxification, and they usually feel noticeably better overall within about three months. However, it may take take your body a year or more to completely heal, depending on the severity of your symptoms and how long you have had them.

Why is a thorough examination so important?
People who have chronic Lyme disease usually have other infections and allergies. If these are not addressed, they will continue to cause persistent inflammation and illness.

For example:
• 95% had one or more viral infections in their liver (which causes many other health issues and also hinders detoxification).
• 100% had protozoal infections and/or other parasites
• 50% had one or more symptom-producing allergies
• 20% had Candida overgrowth (creating numerous Lyme-like symptoms)
• 60% were anemic (which is often not detected with routine blood tests)

In order to obtain the best results, all symptom-producing health issues must be addressed (using Dr. Smith’s CranioBiotic Technique). These treatments are incorporated into your office visits.

Why do I need to take nutritional supplements?
Chronic Lyme infections will deplete important vitamins, minerals, and brain neurotransmitters. These deficiencies can cause numerous physical, emotional and cognitive symptoms. Unless they are replenished, your LymeStop treatment results will not be optimal. It usually requires at least three months to adequately replenish most deficiencies. Also, any organs that have become significantly weakened, like the adrenal glands, will require glandular nutrition to help expedite their healing. Your immune system will also require support to help it regain normal function.

Is any follow-up care necessary?
Three to four months after your last treatment, it is important that you return to our office for a brief re-evaluation. The purpose of this visit is to confirm the effectiveness of your treatments, and to determine if any "touch up" treatment is necessary. Only one office visit is needed for both the exam and any necessary follow-up care. The cost of this re-exam and any necessary treatment is included in your total LymeStop fee.

What about Biofilms?
Biofilms are a slimey and gluey substance that the Borrelia bacteria generates to shield itself from antibiotics and the immune system. Thus far, it appears that Biofilms are not a problem for Lymestop therapy. We believe that is because the magnetic fields are able to effectively penetrate them.

Can someone with Lyme infect a member of their family?
Yes. Lyme has been found in breast milk and has also been shown to pass thru the placenta. If you had Lyme disease when you gave birth, it is very possible that your child may have become infected.

It is also possible for you to infect a sexual partner. It was originally assumed that the Borrelia spirochete, a cousin to Syphilis, could not be sexually transmitted. However, a study announced in the summer of 2013 revealed that women with Lyme disease tested positive for Borrelia in vaginal secretions while about half of the men with Lyme disease tested for positive for Borrelia in semen samples. When one married couple tested positive for Lyme disease with the exact same strain of Borrelia, researchers were led to believe that the Lyme was sexually transmitted. The unknown factors of sexual transmission may help in explaining the exponential increase in new cases of Lyme disease (underestimated by the CDC at 300,000 each year).

If you are concerned about any member of your family, we will be happy to provide them with a complimentary brief Lyme (Borrelia) screening test.

LymeStop sounds too good to be true.
That is what we have heard from many people, especially those who had previously endured years of unsuccessful therapy. They are amazed by what their own immune system can accomplish with LymeStop treatments. You can read many of their comments in the testimonials section of this website.

The Borrelia Spirochete BLP is one of about 18 LymeStop BLPs. It is located on the right acromioclavicular joint and is usually very tender to palpation.
