What is LymeStop?

LymeStop is a powerful, all-natural therapy that is the culmination of an Idaho doctor’s research with hundreds of Lyme sufferers, including himself. This breakthrough alternative treatment is revolutionizing the way that Lyme disease is typically addressed.

In 2009, Dr. Anthony Smith made a profound discovery about Lyme disease. He found that most Lyme-related infections appear to have tender, acupuncture-like points on the body.* These points are unusually tender to palpation, and they have a diminished impedance to a negative magnetic field. But most importantly, they can produce a highly effective therapeutic response against Lyme Disease.

What specific Lyme infections have BLPs?

Dr. Smith identified BLPs for each form of Borrelia (Lyme) bacteria. He also discovered BLPs for most common Lyme co-infections, including Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Mycoplasma Pneumoniae, Chlamydia Pneumoniae, Protomyxzoa, Rickettsia, HHV6, Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr Virus and eight other unique co-viruses.

How does LymeStop work?

Gentle therapeutic magnets are simultaneously applied to a BLP, the cranium, and other significant areas. This magnetic stimulation optimizes your neuro-immune system’s recognition of the specific infection. This empowers it to produce an immediate and effective therapeutic response. It is therefore your own incredibly efficient immune system – not the magnets – that actually performs the treatment. LymeStop is so effective that even people with significantly compromised immune systems have responded well.

How many treatments are necessary?

All the treatments can be accomplished during a total of four office visits. You can receive up to two or three treatments per day, thereby completing all your care within two days.

Is this type of treatment safe?

Magnets have been safely used for therapeutic purposes for hundreds of years. However, the use of magnets is always contraindicated for those who have pacemakers. Pregnant women should also avoid this type of therapy because of the significant release of toxins that can occur. Because it is gentle, painless, and drug-free, LymeStop is an ideal natural Lyme treatment for children.

How effective is LymeStop?

Based on our clinical results thus far, it has become obvious that nothing works as well as an empowered immune system. In fact, it is very unusual when someone does not experience long-lasting resolution of the symptoms related to the infections we have identified and treated. We refer to our patients treatment results as “permanent remission”.

However, note that symptomatic improvement can be more challenging if other conditions are involved – such as mold toxicity, EMF hypersensitivity, heavy metal toxicity, breast implant illness, degenerative diseases, etc.

Does the treatment eliminate Lyme or just suppress it?

The treatment activates your immune system to fully eliminate Lyme and co-infections. However, reinfection is possible if exposed again.

What if I don’t actually have Lyme disease?

If Lyme is not detected during evaluation, we’ll look for other health stressors causing your symptoms to see if we can help. If treatment is not needed, your fee will be adjusted or refunded accordingly.

Why is a thorough examination so important?

People who have chronic Lyme disease usually have other infections and allergies. If these are not addressed, they will continue to cause persistent inflammation and illness.

For example:

  • 95% had one or more viral infections in their liver (which causes many other health issues and also hinders detoxification).
  • 100% had protozoal infections and/or other parasites
  • 80% had mold/fungal infections and/or allergies
  • 90% had an Epstein-Barr viral infection
  • 50% had one or more symptom-producing allergies
  • 20% had Candida overgrowth (creating numerous Lyme-like symptoms)

In order to obtain the best results, all symptom-producing health issues must be addressed (using Dr. Smith’s CranioBiotic Technique). These treatments are incorporated into your office visits.

Why didn’t my regular doctor find Lyme?

Standard blood tests for Lyme are only ~50% accurate. Lyme is a clinical diagnosis, but many providers are not trained to recognize Lyme symptoms or have the tools to treat chronic lyme.  Awareness of lyme disease is growing, but the current testing and diagnosis of lyme disease is poor.

What will I experience after completing my treatments?

Your immune system will gradually and safely kill the infections over a period of up to three months. During that time, you may experience episodes of significant fatigue (and other symptoms) that will come and go. The duration and intensity of your detoxification symptoms will be in direct proportion to the severity and location of your Lyme-related infections, and how well your body is able to eliminate the dead infections.

How soon will I start feeling better?

The average Lyme patient experiences a significant improvement of symptoms within the first three months after their treatment. However, it may take take a year or more for some people to completely heal, depending on the severity of their symptoms, how long they have been infected, and if they have any other unresolved health issues.

What if I’m not better at the follow-up?

Most commonly, there is an unresolved health stressor affecting the body still.  The most common stressors are:
• Dental infections (e.g., root canals, cavities, cavitations, or crowns) harboring Lyme or other infections
• New infections or stressors acquired since the initial visit
• Undetected or untreated mold toxicity
In these cases, we re-treat, recommend dental care if needed, or refer for mold evaluation. Mold toxicity is harder to assess in-office and may require lab work or outside specialists.

What if I don’t detox well?

The treatment works by stimulating your own immune system, which only clears what your body can handle. This makes it gentler and more manageable than medications or antimicrobials.  We also will provide recommendations to help aid in the detoxification process.

Will I experience herx reactions (die-off symptoms)?

About 50% of patients experience mild detox symptoms like fatigue or body aches. Patients with mold toxicity tend to have stronger reactions because their detox pathways are more burdened. Symptoms can last a few weeks to a few months.

Why do I need to take nutritional supplements?

Chronic Lyme infections will deplete important vitamins, minerals, and brain neurotransmitters. These deficiencies can cause numerous physical, emotional and cognitive symptoms. Unless they are replenished, your LymeStop treatment results will not be optimal. Any organs that have become significantly weakened, like the adrenal glands, will require glandular nutrition to help expedite their healing. Your immune system will also require support to help it regain normal function.

Do I have to follow a specific diet?

We test for food sensitivities at your visit and recommend a whole-food, unprocessed diet. While not strictly required, avoiding inflammatory foods can speed up recovery and reduce symptoms faster.

Is any follow-up care necessary?

About three months after your last treatment, it is important that you return to our office for a brief re-evaluation. The purpose of this visit is to confirm the effectiveness of your treatments, and to determine if any “touch up” treatment is necessary. Only one office visit is needed for both the exam and any follow-up care. The cost of this re-exam and any necessary treatment is included in your total LymeStop fee.

What about Biofilms?

Biofilms are a slimy and gluey substance that the Borrelia bacteria generates to shield itself from antibiotics and the immune system. Thus far, it appears that Biofilms are not a problem for Lymestop therapy. We believe that is because the magnetic fields are able to effectively penetrate them.

Can a patient be treated for Lyme if they also have mold toxicity?

Yes. Lyme disease and mold toxicity are two separate health stressors, but they can produce similar symptoms due to their effects on the nervous and immune systems. Both release neurotoxins and biotoxins that accumulate in the body and interfere with detoxification pathways and create inflamation.
At our clinic, patients with known or suspected mold issues can still be treated for Lyme and co-infections. In many cases, resolving Lyme allows the body to detox more efficiently, and mold becomes less of a burden. However, in other cases, symptoms persist after Lyme is cleared—indicating mold toxicity must also be addressed. Often, it’s not possible to determine this in advance.
Our typical approach is to first treat Lyme and co-infections. At the follow-up visit (four months later), we assess improvement:
• If symptoms are significantly better, mold treatment may not be necessary.
• If symptoms persist, we refer the patient to specialists for mold toxicity testing and remediation.

Can a mother pass Lyme to her children?

Yes. Lyme has been found in breast milk and has also been shown to pass thru the placenta. If you had Lyme disease when you gave birth, it is very possible that your child may have become infected.

If you are concerned about any member of your family, we will be happy to provide them with a complimentary Lyme (Borrelia) screening test.

The Borrelia Spirochete BLP is located near the right acromioclavicular joint and is often very tender.
